The silage method

Silage is a popular method to store feed for cattle through periods of food shortage
The types of feed that can be silage for cattle include grasses, agricultural plants, agricultural by-products... the most popular ones can be mentioned are corn silage, pineapple silage, elephant grass silage, peanuts stalks silage, silage straw, silage cassava residue…

The silage method
Choose the right harvest time for grasses, corn, etc. to have the highest nutritional content (you can call us for advice)
Chop the tree to 1 - 3 cm in size, puree for agricultural by-products
Put the product in bags or compost pits, each layer is from 10 to 20 cm, each layer is watered with a solution of silage yeast combined with starch and molasses.
Vacuum the mixture or compact it to push all the air out
Anaerobic incubation, after about 10-15 days (fermentation depends on many factors including temperature)
Silage corn can be stored for long-term use up to 1 year
